Service Description

This class will highlight a handful of herbs that can help guide us to a deeper connection to our benevolent ancestors while keeping in mind and body any healing that may need to be done. We will go over a variety of ways to use plants, keeping our boundaries clear and ways we can move with grace while practicing our ancestral connection and healing. You will not only walk away with a greater connection to your ancestors but also with a signature item from Catalina's cabinet. Please sign up for class by 10/14/26 so that we can verify class has met minimum participants. Materials included in class fee. Growing up in the Santa Cruz Mountains, Catalina was able to have an intimate relationship with the natural world and native plants. Her father was a master gardener and often used plants for medicine. Her mother taught her to use food and plants for healing. The influence of her parents and other beloved ancestors carries on and her connection to plants and the plant nations continues. Catalina is trained as an herbalist and birth doula and to her the most important role she has is Mother. Using her relationship with plants, her curiosity and wonder, she grows medicinal gardens that help her care for her family and greater community in many ways. Body, mind and spirit. Please bring a tea/coffee mug, some cozy socks and/or blanket.
